Hi all.

Looking for some advice.

Im really worried about being hit with bad Morning sickness and having to carry on as usual.

Last time i was pregnant i got really ill and would throw up all day.

I havent had signs of that yet but i feel so worried about it.

I work Full time currently (Although will quit in 5 months, my partner works) and i dont want to tell my work yet, I dont know how im going to manage once the sickness arrives  dreading it! (and the worst bit there isnt a toilet on the level where i work so i need to run down a massive staircase haha)

x

I know how you feel. At my work we're expected to work long hours and by 5.30 I'm falling asleep! I'm thinking of telling them sooner than 12 weeks if they keep asking me to do the 12 hour days.

I'd keep a trash can and some trash bags handy for emergencies if I were you. :winkwink:

Hopefully you won't be as sick this time!

Keep a lot of snacks and whatever beverage you can stomach near you all day. For me, I could keep nausea tolerable if I ate something small every 2 hours. Sucking on sweet and/or sour hard candies also helped tremendously. Hope all goes well for you. I've heard from other mommies that each pregnancy is different... so here's hoping you won't be sick this time :)

I start work at 7:30am everyday, so at the time of day when my sickness was at it's peak. Surprisingly, no one at work noticed my sickness. Drink ginger tea or ginger soda (ginger is really good for nausea), and eat bland crackers. Those two things saved me lol. On really bad days, I'd have to go without eating until noon when I felt a bit better.

hopefully your sickness isn't so bad when it comes!

Im actually off work today due to nausea and tiredness! Im 9w3 and since 6 weeks have suffered on and off with all day nausea which at times leaves me feeling weak and dizzy.

Luckily the worst of it is over by 12pm and my boss is really understanding if i need to get some air or keep running to the loo!

I have been taking 50mg of b6 and drink herbal tea and have plenty of snacks on my desk which seems to help, i also take my prenatals at night now because they were making me feel worse in a morning.

I felt quite nauseated today and didn't sleep at all which is why i haven't gone into work, i really need time to catch up on some rest as i work 11 hr days :( x
