i love breast feeding but WOW - I never knew it'd take up such a big chunk of my postnatal life! I am either feeding, expressing or thinking i'd better do so in a minute. I'm feeling like a jersey cow!:rofl:
i'd never expected breat feeding to be such a big deal.... I naively thought it'd be a case of just popping baby on from time to time.. Life revolves around boobs and milk these days!!!heheh

dont let me put u off though - it's the best feeling ever when you lok down adn can see baby being nourished by your own milk. I just love it...even when it's expressed milk!!

I totally agree with you on the time issue, but how freaking wonderful it is makes it totally worth it.

Totally agree with you!! Sam had a bottle today and I walked in with it in one hand for DH to feed him, and my pump in the other...feel like I'm just here to be milked sometimes! My whole life seems to revolve around milk and breasts and I never thought it would take up quite so much of my time...I absolutely love it though! :D x

I like to think of it as nature's way of ensuring that I take 5... every 5 minutes! hahaha

It is quite time-consuming, but I would think even bottle feeding would be just the same.

I remember times when I'd be sitting on the couch breastfeeding for what seemed like hours and looking around at all the things I had to get done.

But, breastfeeding is a beautiful process between mom and baby.

I love it to nothing beats the look on babes face when ur feeding. i love the fact it allows me sit down for hours in the day for a well desevered rest xx

It does take up a lot of time in the beginning, but now that Aaron is older he is much quicker at feeding. Far less time and hassle than washing, sterilising and making up bottles! Plus it's so convenient when we're out and about. I'm far too lazy to bottlefeed!

In a few months time your little ones will take up much less time feeding, so enjoy that time relaxing with them while you can!

It sure does take up a lot of time in the first few or months but as your baby gets older, the gaps in feeding will get bigger too. Just make sure to carry around pads in case you're out and your baby sleeps through a feed!

I like that one! I got the "Milk Jugs" one and the "Breast- the original white milk"

Very true! All day this seems to be the only thing I do! If Joseph and I go for a visit at somebody house for 3 hours, you can rest assured that we will only see you for about 2 1/2! Keeping him awake is half the battle, he seems to fall asleep every minute I'm not dabbing him with a cold cloth.
