Hi girls,

Just wondering, how long do your LO's go between feeds?

Leni goes 2 hours max, sometimes even an hour, and he is breastfed. Just wondering how long your babies go on formula?

3-4 hrs & 6 hrs at night at 6 wks. He was only taking 2-3 oz per feed. Omar wasnt a hungry baby.

2 and a half - to 3 hours max, although she does sleep from 8pm - 7am so cant complain

Jake goes from around 3-4 hours inbetween feeds. He sleeps from about 11pm until 8am though,

3 hours during the day then 6 hours at noght till he was 5 weeks then he would feed every 3 hours day time and sleep 12 hours at night time x

Hiya,

I give my lo expressed breast milk and he'll often go 4 hours between feeds. If you can express enough, is this a possibility maybe once a day? or overnight? I guess there's no guarantee it'll work for Leni...but it's got to be worth a try?

Having said that, I'm considering trying formula because by the time I've fed my lo, expressed, washed up and sterilised I've got about an hour and a half before he wakes and we go through the whole process again... If I could just get him to go a bit longer that extra hour's sleep will make all the difference to my sanity...

You're doing great, Molly used to feed every 1 1/2 hours when I was breastfeeding, it was VERY hard. She now goes 4 hours between feeds and sleeps 10-7 on formula. It'll get easier, he's a growing boy

HI hun. there is a growth spurt at 6 wks & BF babies tend to cluster feed & sleep less. Glad ur Lo is sleeping better xx

Alex went 3 hours for a long time, either on ebm or formula until we started weaning. Its now every 4 hours. (and sleeping through)

Aliyah goes 3hours most times..in the night longer than 3 hours tho x

Little man fed all the time during the first few weeks (he was on EBM and formula)... 16 bottles in one day was our record... my dad was a permanent washer upper/steriliser! He settled down by 3 months and now goes 3-4 hours on formula and sleeps from 7pm to 8am ish with 1 feed at 11pm. Hope it gets better for you X
