just a quick vent

My poor little man and I have both got a cold and so his sleeping and feeding is all off. He has been alternating between feeding and crying since 7am this morning and has only just fallen asleep after 2 oz of formula!

I never give him a bottle in the day and hated doing it but thinkkhe has literally drunk me dry!

I think he is having a growth spurt too so I sense a difficult couple of days ahead.

Any advice on feeding when you have a baby with a cold? Im also worried that as I cant eat properly (very sore throat) my milkj will be affected.

Hey Sorry to hear about the colds...Just try drinking plenty of water or getting plenty of fluids and you will be ok..I had that happen when she drank me dry..I had to give her a pacifier and drink plenty of fluids to try to fill back up quickly..Still took a bit though..Hang in there girl this too will pass??Those growth spurts can be a trip especially if u both have colds

Hi there, my little girl had a cold last week, and she is still struggling to BF at times in the day when she is snotty.... bless her, she can't suck, swallow without breathing - and of course she's all bunged up! I have menthol vapour plug in thing on the go in the room and I have been slapping Vicks on me so she can clear her nose a little when trying to feed. I think this has helped.
