people who combine bf and ff usually bf first then introduce ff because of nipple confusion etc but is it possible to ff but give say one bottle of expressed milk a day as both would be from bottle? i know breast milk supply slows/stops if not used..might be a silly question but has anyone got experience of this?

Hi - yes it is possible - One of my friends did this for a few months as she hated breastfeeding but still wanted her baby to get some breastmilk, so she mainly formula fed but expressed every morning and gave an expressed bottle for one of her baby's feeds.

Nipple confusion is actually quite rare. I combo feed EBM, FF, and breast feeding and have been for 4 months now. My LO is quite happy with bottle or breast.
