Hi ladies,

Im not sure if this post belongs in here but Im guessing it does, just by reading some of your posts. Sorry for the long story.....

I found out I was expecting around the 9th of march. I had been having a few pains but put this down to my body changing etc..

Well y/day morning I woke up and started bleeding got an emergancy appointment at the docs who reffered us up to the early pregnancy assesment unit. When we got there I had a scan and they confirmed my pregnancy but said it was very early and they couldnt find a heartbeat but not to worry this was normal for so early. They could see the bleed but could also see a sac and yoke which were in tact. They could not confirm that I was m/c'ing though and sent me home saying to come back next thurs for another scan.

Well I bleed and passed small clots through the night and I still am and have an ache in my lower belly . Phoned the hospital this am and they've moved my scan to monday (so they're worried)

I just dont know what to do with myself. I dont know whats happening and wont for another 6 days. My heart tells me things arnt right and this is the end but I dont know I just dont know what to thing Im a mess a BIG CRAPPY MESS!!

so sorry your going through this hun, it's the waiting that is hard can't you go upto a&e they may scan you today if you tell them the pain you are in? I lost twins at 5 weeks and 7.5 weeks One through mc and other had no heartbeat if you ever need to talk pm me

They said I can go straight onto the ward if the bleeding gets heavier but they said theres nothing they can say today that they didnt yesterday which I cant understand surly they can tell me if i've def m/c. Feel like im in limbo.

So sorry for your losses hunni it has to be one of the worst things in the world to go through.

So sorry narla - its the waiting tha tsi awful. I m/c 6 weeks ago and the same thing happened to me - i thought I was nearly 9 weeks but scan showed 5 week sac with foetal pole but no heartbeat - which is normal for 5 weeks. So they could not confirm miscarriage. I had to wait a week to see if heartbeat had developed - which is should have done by 6 weeks - or not - which meant baby had stopped developing and therefore had miscarried. It was awful being in limbo and almost a relief when they confirmed the miscarriage
They cant definately say you have m/c until they know for certain you arent just earlier than you thought - and hence thats why there is no heartbeat

My heart goes out to you - all I did was cry for a week - but at same time there was still this bit of hope that things would be ok
