just found out that my pregnancy is ectopic :(

hello, i just found out today that my pregnancy is ectopic, my levels are 165 when they did my bloods and told me that i have to come back in 48 hours to have bloods again to see if they rise or not, im hoping that it will come away on its own, i have been bleeding (red blood) but not allot like a period, i really do not want to have the procedures they have told me about i was told i wouldnt have to wait 6 months tp try again if it does not come away its self, any advice for me x very emotional to hear this today

How many weeks are you? Did they do an ultrasound, or how did they know it is for sure ectopic?

Im going though something simialr, as of yesterday my level is at 273 and my dr said she wouldnt expect me to have any pain or symptoms that go along with an ectopic with numbers that low and that I could have the shot to make it dissolve faster and thus hoping that it doesnt grow bigger and rupture the tube... Im really sorry for what you are going through, i know it is awful and so discourging, will pray for you!

yes i wish there was no evidence as i really hope i will wake up from this nightmare i had an internal scan done today and was told there and then as there was no embryo in my womb but was in my right Fallopian tube

I had an Etopic back in April didn't find out til 9 weeks when my tube ruptured I had it removed obviously... They told me I would never be able to hae another baby I went into mass depression and drank myself stupid decided to have sex one night and here I am at 40 weeks

Yeah I did have a scan, they couldnt see anything in my uterus but a thin lining and only saw one ovary with nothing on it..waiting til next week to see if my numbers go up enough where they can really see something. Did you get your bloods redone yet? Hope you are doing ok!

hope its good news for u x and i am going tomorrow to re do my bloods at the hospital n then go from there im hoping they are lower, ( my hcg levels)so hopefully it means my body is rejecting the pregnancy as it knows there is something wrong

I am so sorry for what you are going thru, I have had 3 ectopics, two were treated with methotrexate and right tube removal, we were told that on my third ectopic that the wanted to take my left tube out but I refused, had a huge argument with them as they strongly advised it, they agreed to use methotrexate shot but we were advised not to Ttc again as they said that my tube was damaged and it would be an ectopic for the forth time. But unbelievably we ended up pregnant and I'm now 14 weeks with an intrauterine pregnancy. I know how hard this is to deal with and you are in my thoughts, but do what you feel is best for you, you are the only one that knows what your body is telling you.if we had done what the docs said we would have ended up with no pregnancy now. Although be safe too, if the docs say there is no other way then there will most likely be no other way, ectopics are life threatening so please please please take care of yourself. thanks for your lovely message and story, its nice to know that there are so many people who are so kind on here and listen and help you through tough times, i am sorry you had to expierance this 3 times and to think you thought your 4th could of been the same must of been terrible, i had my bloods done on friday and they have dropped to 72 from 165. which is a good sign that the pregnancy is trying to miscarry, im going tomorrow for some more bloods to see if they have dropped more or not, i will keep you updated thanks for ur support, and i will most deffo message u as i would love to hear ur advice as u have been through the same xxx
