Hi guys,

So I suffered a missed miscarriage early June last year. Since then me and Boyfriend haven't exactly been trying nor preventing getting pregnant, well this morning I got BFP and as much as i want to be over joyed i'm so scared that it will happen again. Has anybody had success with second pregnancy any tips would be useful just really scared right now x

Hi Bailey, I suffered a miscarriage just before new years at 6 weeks(1st pregnancy) . Although my hubby and I just started trying again, I'm also scared about it happening a second time!
I do however have two very good friends of mine who went through the same thing and went on to have healthy, successful second pregnancies.
Best of luck and congrats!

Hi pooh bear,

I'm so sorry for your loss🙁 thanks for taking time out to reply. I was the exact same about getting pregnant again and because it took us 6 months I started to give up, I'm still in shock and going on different forums and seeing other people go on to have more misscarriages is so scary but your comment about your friends and others I know is reassuring. I guess it's just a matter of praying and hoping for now.

Hope you get your BFP soon best of luck to you guys

And no problem.
I totally know how you feel about reading through different forums, I can't go into these ones vary often because reading about people with multiple losses, other problems etc just make my mind go crazy.
Try your best to keep positive :) that's what everyone is alway telling me even tho it's difficult at times

Hi! I had DS1, then a miscarriage, then DS2, then a miscarriage, and am now pregnant with DD. It is definitely likely this will be your healthy rainbow baby. Hang in there; the first few weeks can be scary but the odds are in your favor that all will go well :)

Hi, I had a DS and was a perfect pregnancy. Then I had a mc at 6.5 weeks and then a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks but I didn't find out until I was 10 weeks at my first ultrasound.

Typically miscarriages happen due to chromosomal issues with the fetus so if there aren't any other issues, you have a good chance of a successful pregnancy next time

I had a miscarriage in 2011 4 weeks later got my bfp with my daughter then had a mc in august 2016 then an ectopic in November 2017 x

Staceyxo, was your daughter a healthy successful pregnancy? So sorry to hear of your losses. Did you have a period between your mc and when you got pregnant with your princess?

Hi ladies, it's crazy how you never really think of a miscarriage ever happening but then once it does its all you can think about😣 hugs to all of you with your losses😚I'm still feeling really anxious but trying to stay as positive as I can. It's just funny how now my boyfriend has kind of changed his tune on having this baby when it was his idea (I swear I don't get men)

I had 3 losses, then had my DD. I thought that all would be ok after that and we started trying. I had 1 more loss. I am in my TWW now. It's gotten to the point that a BFP means nothing to me. Everything is up in the air till 2nd trimester.

FX for you.

TTC First, I'm sorry for your losses. Did you have any testing done on yourself or fetuses? I hope this month is successful and you end up with a healthy baby :)

I am booked for my first scan in a couple of weeks and I'm sooo nervous. I have yet to tell my husband.
