The spelling is awful and I pronounced it about five different ways in my head before seeing how it was really pronounced... none of them were right. That poor girl.

I don't care for the pronounciation, either. It could be worse, but it sounds pretty contrived and sort of like someone chopped off the beginning of "rhapsody".

Abcde is one of the stupidest "names" I have ever seen. It's like calling your kid E=mc2. There is no intuitive pronunciation because it's not a word!!
