just want some feed back on success stories with clomid or metformin

just after some feed back on anyone who has pcos and have used clomid or metformin and your success and if u have multiple birth ie twins triplets etc

I have pcos and didn't ovulate at all.
On my first round of 50mg clomid I got pregnant.
Definitely only one in there!

wow i already have 1 child which i concieved neaturally ( miracle baby) and i want to try for baby no2 but im not haveing any look and looking into speacking to the gyne about clomid as i also have pcos

:wave: I'm a clomid success, three rounds of clomid - got it on the third round too 50mg days 2 - 6, I had follicle monitoring scans and 21 day blood test, last round they told me I didn't ovulate, turned out I ovulated later and was pregnant

I am a Clomid success in the terms that I got pregnant on it. I don't have pcos, I just wasnt ovulating after birth control. but I still ovulated with it and got pregnant on the third try. I did miscarry but that was nothing to do with the Clomid.

i have pcos and I conceived my second cycle of clomid 50 mg there was one baby. Unfortunately I suffered a mc.
I moved on to iui with clomid 100 and 150 and metformin both cycles bfn but taking the meds
helped me with my ovulation and we conceived naturally (one baby) in May when we took that month off
to save for our next round of iui.
I know several people who used clomid to conceive and all have had singletons. There is a chance of multiples with clomid but there is a higher rate with injectables.

i have pcos and ov was basicly non existant or really far in the cycle cd 80+ so was put on metformin that alone never worked but was put on met and 50mg of clomid and feel first time andonly the one babba from what we saw i think the higher the dose the more chance of multiples tho

I had my first son when i was 16 ( pregnant at 15) and my periods were irregular but that was because of being a teenager ( or so they said!) turns out i have PCOS and after being with my hubby for 6 years they gave me clomid 50mg for 3 rounds the 1st worked but resulted in a m/c second failed and 3rd worked fingers crossed this little one sticks we have been waiting so long

It was lovely to ring the gyno and tell him, his response was " congratulations lets hope i never see you again!!!" lol x

Hello I have pcos and I am slightly overweight. I tried to conceive naturally for about a year... No success. When I was sent over to fertility the doc recommended I try metformin first.

I got on 500mg of metformin daily and was supposed to increase to 1500mg.... I never increased it because I have a sensitive stomach. I started the 500mg metformin in April and lost 19lbs along with following a diabetic meal plan (even though I'm not diabetic). I got pregnant by early may! My doc mentioned that a lot of people with pcos and who have no other medical conditions (ovaries & tubes and everything was working fine...I just ovulated every 35-42 days) usually get pregnant after 3 months. It was less than a month for me!!!


Now I'm pregnant with one and heading into my 12th week

Clomid got me ovulating (I have PCOS) but we weren't successful in conceiving due to other problems. However out of the 4 women I regularly shared my consultant's waiting room with I was the only one not to conceive after 3 cycles. I hope you get your BFP soon

I don't take metformin because it makes me sick as a dog and every time they put me on it I gain weight... My consultant says I'm an aberration!

I don't have PCOS but I don't ovulate all the time. I got pregnant on my first round of Clomid with twins.

I was on clomid and metformin and I have PCOS. I took one round of clomid on cycle days 3-7. I just recently found out I was pregnant so I am not sure how many is in there yet!
