Hiya, I hope someone can help. I am currently on SMP, my employer has asked me to go into work for two days next week and two days the week after (I am offically on maternity leave until January) I have looked on the direct.gov website and I think I can work 10 days during my maternity leave (these are called keep in touch days) and my employer will pay me and this will not affect my smp. Can anyone confirm this please.

Many Thanks

yep thats true hunny, i'm doing that through my work too xx

I couldn't find much info on this when I searched google? Anyone got a good site to find out stuff as Im doing a few too

I'm popping into my work place tomorrow to sort some days out! The extra cash will come in handy although I wonder what I'll do!! They have probably started stock piling spreadsheets and client data for me to update, so looking forward to catching up with everyone, I love my job!!

Try these sites, they seem to explain it quite well.I'm lucky that my work have given me booklets on anything like this. Hope it helps
