Not sure if anyone asked about this before, but I've been doing research and hearing about the keto diet being beneficial for people with PCOS. Has anyone done it before? Did you lose weight? Did you notice any improvements with your cycle? Did you conceive? I'm not sure how long I plan on doing it but I really want to try something to see an improvement in my cycles and hopefully my fertility. All opinions/experiences are welcomed!

I haven’t done it personally but I have read that it can help with pcos. My male friend has been on it since February (he’s been pretty strict with it) and has lost 60lbs so far!!!! He said the first few days were rough, but after that has been good.

I have done it and I have severe pcos.

I lose weight very easily on it. I also find my cycles tend to regulate because I usually ovulate within a couple weeks of starting.

I have conceived once while doing it and it resulted in my daughter.

Remember, keto diet is not for everyone. There are some cases that it produces side effects.

I’ve seen a lot of women with PCOS share that keto helped regulate their cycles and improved their chances of conceiving, especially after losing some weight. It seems like sticking to it for at least a few months is when people start noticing real changes in their symptoms.

Keto can help with PCOS by improving insulin resistance, which often leads to better cycle regularity and weight loss, and some women report improved fertility.
