are you having kids at your wedding?im having my son (6) niece (5) and OH is bringing his 2 nieces 12 and 15 and his nephew is 16....im not a huge fan of kids at weddings i just think the day is a little long

15 under the age of 10....luckily they are all serious partyers and at a family wedding last year were still going strong at 11pm so we have no worries about them at all.

it depends on the kids i suppose,i was at one last year and a 2 year was running around the church screaming,i couldnt even hear the preist so i made my mind up there and then

Thats true - depends on the kids, and depends on the parents. Theres no danger any of my friends/family would let them run around during something as important as the service  I'm very lucky that way! xxx

I think we will have around 20 in total at the reception with the oldest being 8 and the rest being around the 3/4/5 age range. Also a couple of newborns too as me and my sil are due the same day lol. We are going to get an entertainer in though to keep them amused and hoping the babies will be ok to sleep through it all especially as I plan on breastfeeding.

We recently went to a wedding reception and my two daughters were still happily dancing away at 10.30pm and cried when we had to leave as they wanted to stay and carry on dancing.Liike mother like daughter  x

We are having kids, i have quite a large family so its inevitable, and to me weddings are about family, and kids are a part of the package.

Daytime about 10 kids
Evening about 20 kids

All ranging from 1yo to 12yo

Its entirely up to you and dependant on the kind of wedding your having imo, do what feels best!!

We've got 3, they are all about the same age as Cormack. We've got a babysitter coming to the house at about 7 so the little ones can go to sleep and she'll keep her eyes and ears on them!

I have 7 and baby Noah to the day. they are very close family kids. We said none to the night do as we have limited numbers. Obviously those that were at the day will still be there at night .

i will be having kids at my wedding cause i love all the kiddies in my family, but not sure because we're planning to get married in 4-5years so my son & will be 7-8years old, my sister will be about 9-10years old, so all the babies will be kinda grown up by then lol... but will be having kids, wont have numbers i guess other than the ones already born hopefully wont be to many births between now and then :D

I think kids add something to a wedding :) children are so funny lol

we have got 8 kids coming they range from my lo who will be almost 2 to 14. But we are only having a small wedding and only the wedding then the food not having a night do as we are getting wed at 4pm

Mine will be there (1 and 3) and will also have friends and family's there. I think altogether there is about 20 kids during the day (but that is from 1 - 10) xx

The only child we will be having at the ceremony is Amelia.
OH has over 15 nephews and nieces (too many to keep count!) and our ceremony venue only holds 40, along with his gigantic family if we children in there I would have no guests of my own!

We have told all their parents this and that the children can join us straight after for photographs/day reception or come to the evening reception, completely up to the parents, we asked them to let us know.. have they? Nope. (Sorry for the mini rant haha)

To the day reception we are having four toddlers, because I have a few of my lovely friends coming straight after the ceremony with their gorgeous LOs

xXx

I have a son of my own who will be almost 8 so he will be at the wedding. I am having kids at mine there are about 17 in total

We had around 12 children under 8. Luckily they were all really good at the service and then the reception had huge grounds for them to run around and they also put out giant jenga and other garden games for them. If we could have afforded it we were going to get a bouncy castle too

We had two, a three year old and the other 8 months. Baby cried a little bit, but we didn't mind atall, and the three year old, well she stole the show and absolutely made the day. :cloud9: xxx
