Yep I had all these symptoms didn't really know why and it turns out I have hypothyroidism.... (underactive thyroid).

Anyone else suffer from this?

Its getting me down, been put on meds for life but now I'm getting told the hospital didn't check my thyroid antibodies so down the drs I go AGAIN for blood test!

I have hypothyroidism. Got diagnosed about 10 or 15 years ago and have been on meds since.

I get a full thyroid blood panel done every year (tsh, t4, t3, free t4, and a few others I think) but when my numbers are off I'll go every 6 months until they're back in normal range. Since I am TTC currently my endo is seeing me every two months to make sure my TSH stays low enough.

Once the meds kick in you'll feel better. I can tell when my meds are off by my symptoms alone and my endo trusts me enough to check when it happens.

Oh, and because I wasn't told this, make sure you're taking your Levothyroxine/Synthroid in the morning and wait an hour before eating or taking any other meds. It's something like four hours until you can have calcium or antacids. But it makes a difference.
