Hello ladies!
I am hoping someone has had experience with this herb and can give me their personal experience with it!
Quick background. DH and I started TTC #1 in March 2011. We assumed the problem was with me when I didn't get pregnant after a year. My cycles were pretty irregular coming off the pill, and actually took a few years to normalize. Now, they are like they are like they were when I was in highschool: 32-36 days. I do ovulate every single cycle, and I have a 12 day luteal phase. I get lots of EWCM for 2-3 days before ovulation.
I had my hormones tested, and she couldn't find anything wrong, and suggested my husband get tested.
Well, he finally agreed to it.
Count: 20 million per mL (6 mL total)
Motility: 43%
Morphology: 3% (strict guidelines, so 4% is normal)
Everything else they tested was normal, except his semen was highly viscous. (That means that after it liquifies, it is still too thick... the sperm are trying to swim through jello to reach the egg)
After doing lots of research, I found out that Panax ginseng can help with semen and sperm quality by naturally raising testosterone levels.
I have already seen a huge difference in his libido and his occasional mild ED symptoms have vanished. He's like a teenager, again!
My question is, has anyone seen improvements with MFI after using ginseng? I've read articles about it, but I have looked everywhere for personal stories, and I can't find anything!
