Labour at 31 weeks

My friend had some had period pains and tightenings yesterday then yesterday evening her hind waters went. Shes now in hospital and they have found an infection so she is on antibiotics for that. When they were monitoring the baby his heartrate was 100-110 is that not really low? I didnt say but Amelias was much higher? Anyone have something similar or know what might happen
