I am a bit over 5 weeks pregnant and the last time I felt cramping (mild) was last Thursday. At first I was relieved to feel no pain...as I was paranoid that blood would soon follow. However, now I am concerned about the lack of cramps as I know they generally indicate stretching of the uterus.

Has anyone else experienced this and then felt weird for worrying about there being no pain whatsoever? There hasn't been even a drop of blood either.

When I had my miscarriage in October it was nothing but cramping, horrible sort of cramps and spotting.

However, when I was pregnant with my son (now 5) I didn't find out until I was 7-8 weeks and I recall mild cramping though it seemed to be worse at the time I found out more than anything...and I spotted once about a week or two after.

I'm about the same as you. I'm 5 weeks and 3 days. My last pregnancy that ended in miscarriage i had period like cramping from week 3-7 and it was painful. Then week 9 i miscarried. This time i haven't had much cramping. Very mild, like a little sharp pain here and there. I'm in the same state as you. I think that no cramping is a good thing. Since you're not very far along and it's only the size of a poppy-seed. Maybe the cramping will start in the next couple weeks. I'd rather have mild-light cramping then harsh cramping lol. Just my opinon. But who knows.
