Long story short LO has reflux, is EBF and found that if I avoided obvious dairy, cheese, milk, butter etc it improved her reflux.

I don't eat much obvious dairy as I don't get on with it well, creamy foods kick my asthma off etc.

Now weaning, she seams fine with cooked products with diary in, bread, baby biscuits pancakes etc, which will I have kept on eating whilst feeding, but after some natural yog was bad again.

Two questions as drs have been pants

1 does this sound like lactose or cmpi?

2 any advise on getting good fats in her as she is only 9th percentile and don't want to fill her up on too many veg

Also need to start offering a bottle any formulas better then others, I can't pump tried many times before, and want to be able to offer just one bottle a day at bed time.

Thanks in advance

1. Sounds like CMPI, especially as you mentioned your own asthma. I believe Eczema, asthma, and gastrointestinal problems are all linked with CMPI.

2. Coconut oil would be great for this. You can cook with it, add it to foods, smoothies, etc.

I don't know much about formula, but I think most are dairy based and those that aren't usually are soy based. Soy protein is so similar to cow's milk protein that many CMPI babies can't tolerate it either.
