hi ladies,
my son is a huge night garden fan and i have had a makka pakka made for him which measures around 2 and half feet. anyway, its gotta be shipped from turkey and the woman who has made it is charging me almost £200.....

i told her a date that the money transfer would be complete and that im very very nervous about sending that sort of cash without any guarantee or security.. she went on to say how im basically lucky i didnt have to pay a down payment and does not understand why im making her wait a week for the money.. my son will absolutely love it so i simply have to get it here by christmas, but i cant help but feel i have been taken for a mug.

it's knitted and stuffed- and the postage alone is £50... why it's £50 when it's basically a stuffed toy, i do not know.

i think your being over charged!

my nan made a 2ft knitted santa for local fete as a prize, and in total with the wool, stuffing, pattern and safety eyes n nose cost just under £30. i wouldnt pay more than £50 myself.

omg  I wouldn't pay that. Thats waaay too much.

I wouldnt pay that much, also with a bank transfer there is no guarantee whatsoever.

If you do go ahead with it, tell her it has to be paypal.

I think I would rather spend teh £200 on a load of genuine In the Night Garden products though :)

I think that is an absolute rip off and seeing as it is a bank transfer it is more than likely a scam hun. My nan has nitted teddys this size and only charged people £25 x

Even if you pay through paypal she can con you..paypal protection if for people who buy thru ebay and pay via paypal..anything else they dont really want to know..and in all honesty £200 for a soft toy is way too much..also i think it stinks of scam! How did you find this woman?
They have these ones in ToysRus and at only a bit smaller than the one you are paying £200 for these are £15, i know which one i would be getting!
