Ladies with long cycles...what has been your outcome? Im cd120!!!!

So.... Cd120.. Ahhh. I wish af would just show up. Or even better a bfp.
My bestie told me she is pregnant yesterday. Im so happy for her. Now im even more impatient to get this show on the road.

My question is....
For those of you who have had crazy long cycles what has been the outcome?
Im off the pill now and havent had af since.

What did you do? Did you wait it out? How long did it take? Did your doctor induce a bleed? Then what happened? Did af magically kick start afted that? Did you have to waif for another stupidly long cycle after that? What tests has your doctor done?

Ahh ok that should cover a few topics lol.
Id Really appreciate thoughts and experiences ladies... Im feeling pretty down and upset about it all at the moment.

Hello, I keep answering your posts because we have been in such a similar situation.

My doc did a full hormone panel to check for various issues. As you know I did the progesterone withdrawal challenge which induced a withdrawal bleed but did not start more cycles.

I hope some women answer who have had better luck than me! I swear that many women on this board have posted about having success with progesterone withdrawal challenge jump starting regular cycles.

Ive done the progesterone thing and it only forced the period for that one month but did not bring on more periods. I have PCOS and for the past 2 years I was only having approx 1 period a year. I was put on thyroid medication early last year and that has since regulated followed by me taking 2500mg of metformin daily for prediabetes and PCOS. Since NOV I have lost 40 lbs and the last 3 months I have had normal periods on my own. I have completely changed my diet to sugar free (well at least as much as physically possible) and very low carb. I havent lifted a finger as far as exercise but I can only assume that would help. I really do need to get off my butt.

I had my bloods done cd121 (still awaiting results) and the next dad had a pelvic scan... And you'll never believe it.... She told me I was ovulating and had a lovely 20mm follicle ready to go. I was stoked. Also had a POSITIVE opk.. First time. So now I guess im in the tww im so happy. X
