I had a HSG earlier this year and everything was clear. What else can they find out from a Lap and Dye. Dr said it would increase our chances by 30%, does this sound right?

Everytime I think I've understood things something else comes around that confuses me 8-[

my doctor never gave me a precentage on my increase in getting pregnant, I had my lap/dye on Oct 19 2012 and all was clear but he never said anything statistic wise to us. I've just always heard even my family doctor tell me that it really helps some peoples chances. Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon!

Hey Godzuki! I definitely recommend a lap after a HSG. I was given all clear after HSG and put as unexplained. Then in Sept they sent me in for a lap and dye, discovered a choc cyst which they removed and I never knew was there! Well Friday last I got my first ever BFP after four years of nothing!! Hope this gives you some hope xx

Thanks Turtlemad and a bit congratulations on your BFP! That's great news.

Trying to keep hopeful here but having a spell of feeling a bit blue and also had an appointment today which I didn't feel went well (incl consultant booking the procedure date without finding out when my period was going to be due).

Hope you have an easy pregnancy after all that waiting.
