I was in the hospital with what they now say is preeclampsia and i was to be held off as long as possible but i had to be induced at 36 weeks.
june 7th- i was moved to labor and delivery and was given cervadil to soften my cervix
june 8th- Was checked and told i was 2 cm and 70% effaced and then was started on pitocin then at 6pm my regular doctor checked me and i was closed and not soft at all. I was pissed and frustrated. they decided to put a foley bulb in but i needed to have an epidural at that point to do that. I Got it and had the foley bulb in over night
June 9th- 10am: was in alot of pain my epidural had came unhooked so the meds were soaking my bed instead of numbing me and the bulb had fallen out. doc checked me i was 3cm whoooo he then started pitocin.
2pm: had my epidural fixed i was hurting only in one hip (she was hitting my pubic bone she was sunnyside up) i was checked i was at 4cm!!! Then they broke my water and i went to sleep
4pm: was checked again and i was 10cm dilated and 100% effaced but at -1 station
i began pushing
5pm-still pushing til 7pm i was told to labor down
8:30pm- my regular doctor came in for after he had been in an EMCS for another patient was told to push then asked how long it had been it had been 5hours and 30mins he said enough was enough she wasnt moving she was hitting my pubic bone
9:15pm- rolled to surgery
9:20pm-first incision and having vomiting from meds. After a bunch of pushing my epidural QUIT WORKING I WAS FEELING EVERY LITTLE THING!!!!!!!!!!!!! but at ..............
9:46pm Annalise RaynaJo was born refusing to cry and weighing 6lbs 2oz 18inches long i couldnt hold her for 2hours or even touch her Once i got in my room they brought me this angel and i fell in love she is such a calm baby and perfect. She does have Gerd tho but she is doing well.
