So I've been suffering from lower back pain, and sciatica. I can't sleep on my side comfortably. But Laying on my stomach actually makes my Back feel better. My mother always asking me why am I squishing her baby. Lol. I thought they were pretty safe in there. She only rolls around in there when I lay on my stomach, plus it's not at the point where it's uncomfortable and feel like I'm laying on something.

I still lay on my belly :S. But we have a 2" memory foam topper so I think that helps as I can sink into it. It's starting to get uncomfortable now though. Baby is certainly fine!

How far along are you? I'm 16+ weeks and I can not imagine laying on my stomach, its my 3rd baby and my uterus is huge.

I'm the same, i'm 23 weeks and i only feel comfortable when lying on my stomach but i kinda throw my knee out to the side if that makes sense. I too worry if i'm hurting the baby but i dont feel any pain at all or movement.

I'm 23 weeks with my third and still lay on my tummy (with knee bent off to the side like PP). Everything I've read says the baby is fine...better than lying on your back anyway!

i'm guessing its ok, if 3 of us here do it and feel comfortable. Maybe just check with midwife to be sure.

I was I have a appointment with my OB on the 9th.

I have asked my doctor multiple times and she says it's fine. She just wants me to avoid laying on my back. I still "attempt" to sleep on my stomach, I usually end up kind of on my side and I'm 32 weeks!

There are mornings I find myself on my stomach when I wake up. I'm 21+6 with second, and baby is fine. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable only because I'm putting more pressure on a full bladder LOL.

My doctor said to lay and sleep on my stomach as long as I like... But also said eventually I'd teeter/fall off if I kept it up!

I lay on my belly, too. I shove a pillow up under my chest (and a smaller one under my bump) to lessen the pressure. He does kick, as if in protest if I'm all the way on my belly for too long.

Another thing that works for me is to take a large pillow and lie on it, halfway on my side and halfway on my tummy. I'm basically "spooning" with the pillow :haha: I have another pillow for my head, but I wrap one arm and leg around the pillow. It helps a lot. Also, when you do lie on your side, try putting a pillow between your knees, that can help back issues a lot, too.

I only stopped doing it a couple of weeks ago. I still lie half on my belly iykwim? As long as it's comfortable then it's fine!

I am still sleeping on my stomach for at least part of the night. I am a natural stomach sleeper and find it sooo unnatural sleeping any other way. Not sure my little dude loves it though, he goes crazy kicking me!!

I lay on my tummy with my leg bent into a 4 shape iykwim. It feels a little weird but it's how I naturally sleep. I can only lay on my side for so long, and I've never been a back sleeper.
