Hey ladies- reading on here, I see all of the posts about watching babies dance around on ultrasound. I had one at 12w6, baby jumped once at the beginning, and didn't budge for over 10 min, despite enough poking by the tech to bruise my abdomen!

Baby measured right to the day, and had a strong hb of 164- so it seems fine. Just wondering if anyone else had a lazy baby around the same time!

Yeah mine lol! Had my scan at 13+1 and baby was laying face down moved their hand about right at the start then nothing:dohh:

Baby had a good heartbeat measured 1 day ahead and everything else looked fine just a sleepy baby the lady said. Let's hope their more energetic at the 20 week scan.:flower:

Ah, I wouldn't worry too much. Sure baby will be active and keep you up enough when he/she arrives!

With my daughter every time I had an ultrasound all she did was sleep through the whole thing. So when this baby boy gave us a show, we were shocked how much movement you see on the ultrasound.

Some babies just get so cozy inside out bellies :)

Mine was very well behaved at the 12 week scan just gave a couple of waves and a few kicks and that was it! He/she wasnt much more active today but i feel kicks all over so he/she can get a wriggle on! x

Ours moved in the beginning of our 12 week scan but then stopped and stayed in a position that made it almost impossible to get measurements.. It was hanging upside down sleeping lol I'm hoping the 20 week fetal survey will show more movement. My SIL actually got to watch her son pee on the ultrasound lol

At my first scan my baby was so still for the most of it. Just before the end he started doing some sort of kung fu lol, was so funny. I was worried to begin with as he wasn't moving. I guess it's about catching them at the right moment.

I had to go back for another 20 week scan because one of my twins was asleep and refused to budge. His brother is certainly a lot more active (or at least I feel his kicks stronger and more often, could be position and placentas though) so I wonder if when they are born this will be reflected in their personalities!

Don't worry peanut was in a very awkward position for measuring on Monday baby moved into a better position and started sucking a little thumb one big kick and that was it off to sleep lol
They sleep loads at this age

Oh and when I was having Harry he was asleep at the 12 week scan on the 20 week scan he was literally doing backwards rolls lol he wouldn't keep still long enough to get the measurements took ages lol the scan pics were of him doing a backwards roll foot in his face and everything lol
They are more lively at 20 weeks

When I was pregnant with my daughter she was a lazy little thing, never moved! My 20 week scan was difficult as she was lying in an awkward position and refused to budge. With this pregnancy my little man has been very active at both of my scans, dancing around and kicking those little legs.

My sonogropher also told me that baby's at this stage sleep 90% of the time!

Thanks, ladies! Good to know that this seems normal too... :)

My Lil girl at 18 weeks was just sleeping. She would turn around show us her beautiful little spine and just roll over. Lol. She was very active at my 13 week scan.
