leaking at night

I have a mini flood every night. How long does this excessive milk last? will I always leak lots while sleeping? will it ease up and do you all wear padded bras to bed? los of sorry

It's very early days hun. You should see it settle as BFing becomes more established over the next month or so. Some girls are leakers and others arent so just hope you get lucky eh!

I seem to have always had excess milk, i still get quite alot of leaks and my boobs still fill up so they are hard... I make sure i wear a bra to bed and breast pads at all times, its def got better i dont wake up totally soaked like i used to or a soaked bed

I wear bra and pads to bed also over the last week i have started to feed and pump late on eg If i feed on the left at 10pm (her last feed) i will then pump the right as i know Isobelle will sleep till 4am and i will be wet when i wake up this has helped loads and im not wet every night now

Same here! I still wear pads 24hours a day!

Yey!!

I just wear one of those vest tops with hidden support in to bed now. A couple of breast pads and I'm good to go. Much more comfy than restrictive bras!

I was wearing breastpads for the first 12 weeks or so. Then it calmed right down and I stopped leaking milk. It will get better - but when seems to be different for everyone.
