Left over pregnancy hormones 3 months after m/c!

Hi Ladies

I miscarried my first baby in december last year and have just got my 3rd af since m/c. I had a neg test a week after m/g so assumed everything was back okay, have been ovulating every month and periods have been coming, seem to be getting shorter cycles but other than that normal.

Been suffering from terrible breast pain from ovulation up until day or so before AF, nausea and cramping during that time and frequent urination.

AF started last night and i've been in agony today with cramping, and sickness and running to the loo (tmi sorry), had to come home from work and phoned the Dr to see what they had to say.

Just got a call back and the nurse said it sounds like I have a stomach bug which caused the sickness and frequent bathroom visits (eeek didnt even think of that) and that from the symptoms I have it would appear i have a lot of left over pregnancy hormones in my system which would explain why I feel pregnant for the last few weeks every cycle (dont ask me how it works)

I've had loads of neg tests so its not HCG, what else would it be? Might that be why i'm not getting pregnant...?

Explains why I feel so all over the place, I knew I wasn;t going mad when I felt pregnant. Makes me feel a bit glum though I want to be back to normal and have a baby....

Am relieved its not something too bad though....

Sorry to hear about your loss hun

My luteal phase is just as you describe, breast pain, frequent peeing, nausea, sometimes cramp, bloated & tiredness, just like pg symtoms really.

If it's not normal for you tho, I'd be bug the GP for a panel of hormone tests, get ur moneys worth out of the NHS, lol!
