Conversation with my 5 year old at dinner tonight. We were eating drumsticks (chicken legs).
Son: mmm chicken!
Me: yes, chicken tastes good.
Son: and inside these are bones!
Me: yep sure are.
Son: little skeleton bones!
Me: yup.
Son: little skeletons from Halloween!
Me (munching away): yep.
Son: aren't the chickens nice to lend us their legs?
Me :huh... Sure.
Son: thank you chicken for the Halloween skeleton, you are pretty.
Me: ...eat your veggies.
