lh levels

does anyone know what causes high lh levels? my lh levels at start of cycle were high and as a result it took a week ( day 8 of cycle) before i could start stimulating on my last ivf cycle. fs said he had never seen it before all my other hormone levels were normal. I know it can be linked to pcos but i don't have that. so can i do anyhting to lower it and does it effect eggs etc- i didn't stimulate very well so might have been a factor-please help no one seems to know- including the fs!!

Hi hun,
Dont really think i can help but did not want to read and run. I was told i have very high lh levels but i do have pcos. I have no idea why they are high but have been given meds to help with that and my pcos.
Really sorry cant offer any advice, hope you get things sorted soon and get your bfp
