I am using the clearblue fertility monitor. I had high fertility days last week until Friday. Saturday was 1st peak day (LH surge). I always test in the morning around 9/10am. Sunday around 7:30pm we DTD... so about 34 hours after dectecting surge.

My question is for those of you that temp and use OPK, when do you ovulate in comparison to LH surge? I know we're all different but I'm still curious.

One time I got my surge in the morning and the very next mornings had my temp increase, so I must have ovulated about 12 hours after my surge. Usually, though, I'll get my surge, ovulate the next day, then get a temp rise the following day, confirming ovulation did in fact happen.

I ovulate about 24hours after my surge. This month I caught the very start of my surge late at night and got pretty severe O pains late the following night into the morning. The cycles I have temped have showed about the same time span too.

If I don't get a BFP this month, I'm starting to temp next cycle. Not being able to confirm when I O'd is killing me! If I'm lucky we caught the tail end of it.

I use the Clearblue digital and temp. I got my solid smiley on CD 11 this month and O'd on CD 13 confirmed by bbt.
