To those if you who have battery powered baby swings, how long did the batteries last? (I'm assuming most of them require 4 x C batteries).

I ordered a swing for Anna (never thought I'd cave..) and worrying the batteries I have will last five minutes!

I have used my swing frequently, but not as frequently as the some because my LO doesn't nap in her swing, and I have never replaced the batteries. Its a Fisher Price and I have had it for 3 months. I also have the fisher price bouncy chair which takes similar batteries for the vibrations. We've had that one for almost 4 months, and we always forget to turn it off, and still we have never replaced the batteries!

We've also had ours for about three months. Lo spends some time in it every day and we've not had to change them yet. Ours is a bright starts one.

I bought my swing used from a girl i went to school with her baby was like 7 months old and she used the swing everyday and never replaced the batteries im still using the batteries that were in it! I have the fisher price cradle swing.

We never had to change his and it's in the loft now and he was 6 mths when it went. he was never a massive fan of it so it wasn;t overused but it was used everyday for a little whilse

Since July and still don't need to be replaced. Used it quite a lot.x

I have rechargeable batteries for all our baby/kid stuff. Def recommend getting a bunch because you use them in so many different things! The ones in the swing lasted 12 weeks, I actually just recharged them today.

Jeeze im jealous of your batteries! Lo isnt even 3 months and ive changed them once already!

Ours only lasted a few weeks... Definitely need to invest in some rechargables.

Our batteries lasted ages. We used the swing for three months and only changed the batteries once in that time :)

I bought Julian the Little Circus Swing from Mothercare. Had to change the batteries once when he was about 6 weeks old! Since I replaced them I haven't had to do it again, although he's using it less now

I had a swing for about 3 months. We only used it once a day not even that sometimes, for anywhere from 10 minutes up to half an hour. Never had to change them :)

Our batteries lasted LO's entire use of the swing. He loved it and used it almost every day. By time the batteries needed replacement, LO had outgrown it. Well, he's the size of a 3-4 month old but has no interest in the swing these days. If you try to put him in he Houdinis himself out of it in seconds. So it's being stored in the attic until LO#2.
