Light period make it hard to conceive?

I came off the BCP in late March and didn't get a period until June. It was super light, only 2-3 days. My next one came and it has also been super light. I'm worried that being on the pill for so long and having such short periods will make it harder for me to get pregnant. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks!

Mine are always very light and very short. My lining was checked before my last af and was nice and thick. That shouldn't cause you any problems but ask your doctor to check your lining thickness a few days before your next af to be sure :)

how long were you on BC? I ask because I was told that as you age your periods should naturally start to lighten. If you were on bc for a long time, then you wouldn't see that gradual cahnge and when you stopped they would just "suddenly" be lighter. Pre-BC I had very heavy 7 day periods. Now, after 15 years of BC, my periods are more like 4 days. For the first 3-4 cycles after BC stopped I had 3 day VERY LIGHT periods with 2 days of almost negligent spotting. Last cycle I had a "regular" 4 day cycle, but it was still much lighter than I was used to. I haven't conceived so I don't know if it is affecting it, I just know that I am ovulating and I have been told not to worry. :)

Hope that helps. :)

7 years of seasonal pill (period every 3 months). Mine use to send me to hospital because the cramps were so bad. Now I barely notice them, only the day before is uncomfortable but I still function perfectly well.
