We had our little bundle of joy by c-section on 20th September. AFter being scared into a section by docs telling me he'd be over 10lb he weighed in at 8lb 14.
Quite a straightforward birth story as was an elective section, but we got to the hospital and luckily due to my gd I was first on the list so didn't have to wait long. I got a bit weepy as they prepared to do the spinal - I was really scared of being numb but it was nowhere near as bad as I thought. The section was fine, I lost a lot of blood and dh said my waters exploded all over the place lol. They needed forceps to get him out the stubborn little bugger! I felt a bit detached from it all but when I heard that first cry and they gave baby to my dh we both just burst into tears. I didnt think I could love anything so much!!!
