Little bit of advice needed

Hello all so Ive recently joined and I did an intro and I have 2 questions

So I took a pregnancy test last week and Im going for my scan soon, my mum doesnt really accept the father due to his race and ethnicity and neither does my dad. My parent are forbidding me to have the baby due to the race of the father

This is causing alot of tension in my family and the fathers family and Im not really sure what to do

Any suggestion

Hmm, they can't really forbid you to have a baby when you're already pregnant :/ I'd just try and explain to them that what's done is done and they're gonna have to accept it one way or another! I know its hard because they re your family but they love you and should respect you! Good luck

Your parents cant "forbid" you from having a child, especially when your already pregnant. They cant force you into an abortion, or adoption or abything.of.the sort. Id flat out tell them your keeping YOUR.child.

Like everyone else said. This is your child. Your parents can kick you out or whatever else they want. But this is one thing they cannot control. This baby is yours and your boyfriends. Not theres.

Exactly what jisthoping said. Its their loss, not yours and.your.childs. A child wont.turn out like a parent jist because that person is the parent, kwim? Your family is being rather childish to.be honest.

Are your boyfriends parents supportive of you two and the baby? If so then maybe you can stay with them until your parents calm down so you have an unstressful place to stay.

I'm sorry but your parents don't like the RACE of the father??? Is this the ONLY factor they are taking into account? This is 2013... Being a race/color doesn't make you a bad or good person. I hope to God I am reading this wrong.

God bless you girl.. this is YOUR baby. You do what YOU want! Love this little one with all your heart! Don't let ANYONE tell you what to do!

I know it's hard without the support of your family, but you need to realize, parent's are NOT alway right! You are a mom now! Do what's best for your baby
