I've always made LO's feeds as I need them but the older and hungrier she's getting the more I'm noticing how impatient she's getting in waiting for the kettle to boil/bottle cool down etc.

I read in here a little while ago that some ladies make half a bottle allow it too cool and then add the rest at feed time. (so for example if you made a 6oz you would put 3oz in the bottle & then add the remaining 3oz when baby was hungry)

When doing this is it just the water you put in or do you make half the feed up so water AND scoops??

I don't do it as I find it easier to make the bottle a little in advance, but hv told me about this and it's just the water. You add the powder after all the water is in the bottle.

I did this too.
You can keep cooled boiled water at room temperature for 48 hours. So id make up two days worth of 'water' bottles, leave them on the countertop and then add the scoops of powder as i needed a bottle.
Otherwise you can keep pre-made formula bottles in the fridge for 24 hours.
