Little to No Bleeding After Section. Normal?

I had my c-section 11 days ago. I bled heavily for maybe the first few hours after I got back to my room. After that, I have had extremely light bleeding and only every so often. I've had two very small clots the entire time thus far. There have been days with no bleeding at all.

Is this at all normal? I remember with my first, I bled very heavily with many many clots for somewhere around 8 weeks! I'm not complaining, just wondering if it's normal.

I had very little bleeding with my first c section ! Much like what you're describing ... I'm hoping for minimal bleeding again this time too

I had my c-section four days ago and I have didn't have much bleeding from the get go. Even during the surgery, my doc make more than one comment on how I'm not bleeding much, at all. Some techs were asking if they should call for blood and every time she'd reply with, "nope, she's not bleeding." After the surgery, I looked in the suction machine and there was maybe 100 cc of blood. Crazy. Even now, not much bleeding and not much pain, either. In fact, baby and I were released from the hospital just two days post op.

me too. Only I left the hospital not bleeding, and around week four, it came back extremely heavy and didn't stop until my little one was 11 weeks.
