I recently discovered that I´m getting a perverse obsession with long names. I find this particularly disturbing because I normally always find a way of shortening names anyway (my friend Leonard is called Leo, Nicholas is Nicky, Patricia is Patti, Rosanna is Rosie, etc). So my babies will probably have nick-names anyway.

So far I like the sound of Christopher (who might end up being called Chris) and Alexander (who I will of course call Alex).

Anyone else with LNS?

Possibly me?

I love names like Constance, Temperance etc.

Glad I´m not the only one. My OH is worried that our babies will struggle to spell their names when they are in pre-school. I disagree. I think they´ll be smarter because they will have to learn how to spell more letters of the alphabet :haha:

BTW, I´ve never heard the name Temperance. Very unique.

I totally agree with you about it helping your kids with writing their names
I'd love to go for a long name but my surname is REALLY long as it is so I'm thinking something short will fit much better x
