i thought these would be a life saver at nite feeds but nicole hates them. she just spits out the milk and cries. thought she might be just fussy lol so tried ready made during the day and same thing happened.

is she just been fussy or really hates them. anyone else?

my lil boy didnt really lik them either hun i think cos its a lot thicker an creamy than powder milk xxx

cool thanks. guess it will have to be mixing up formula during the nite,. thought the ready made ones would make life easier

I've got the opposite problem with my LO. Tom will drink the aptimal stage 3 cartons but will not touch bottles made from the powder.

When he was having night feeds we used to make the bottles up in the evening, chill them in the fridge and then take them up with us in a cool bag and use a flask of hot water to heat them up as needed. We never had any problems doing this and it was a real life saver.

Ella was the same the few times we tried ready made formula. It also made her really spewy as well, so we didn't use it again.

It deffo tastes different to bubs, we used the ready made cartons when I first got home from the hospital just for convience and when we ran out we started on the powder and my boy didn't like it at all, he was crying and spitting it out, luckily he has got used to the powder now but he did know the difference at first. xx

Have you tried warming the cartons up? I gave LO the milk straight from the carton and she HATED it! I then warmed it up (as I did with the bottles I'd made with powder) and she was much better with it.

They do taste different though!
