LO is a dustbin

My LO eats and eats and eats. He is permanently hungry. He was always a hungry baby with milk but since becoming mobile, he's become a dustbin! I worry he's eating too much... We BLW and the only thing he won't eat is toast. Does this sound like a lot of food for a ten month old? He has an 8oz bottle when he wakes up and 8-12oz at bedtime. He may or may not have a bottle before 12pm - has been refusing this recently. Drinks with meals are either whole milk (no more than 1oz throughout the day) or water.

Breakfast: oatmeal porridge mixed with mashed banana, blueberries
Lunch: potato cake and baked beans, kiwi fruit, cereal bar (toddler - sugar free)
Dinner: pasta with tomato sauce, green beans, spinach, mushrooms, peas and cheese
Snack: two rice cakes (small) with peanut butter, cucumber fingers

I would say if he's eating it then it's fine. I'm not sure about bottle quantities as I'm breastfeeding but it doesn't sound like he is taking a lot of milk? Guessing he's just starting to take more solids than milk.

Sophie is a dustbin too. She hasn't refused anything I've given her so far and she still takes a lot of milk. She eats about the same as your LO apart from the snack.

But yeah I wouldn't worry. If you're doing BLW they'll only eat what they need anyway :D

Yup he's been BLW so I offer until he stops eating. He plays with his food when he's getting full and slows down so I know he can feel full, it just takes a lot of food to get there!

He has just recently dropped a bottle, but we still offer milk throughout the morning and some days he will have it. I guess he is starting to enjoy solid food more than his bottles, which is a real switch as we used to joke he had two tummies - one for food and one for milk - which seemed to be unaffected by the other being full!

Babies eat way more than I imagined!
