Lola?

My husband and I are beginning to lean toward Lola for a girls name but I have some hesitations... do you think it is too trendy? Does it work as a full name? Middle name would be Rose and last name is Beaty (pronounced like Bee-dee). Honest opinions appreciated!

FYI another favorite is Willow. Just don't know if it is too hippy-ish.

Oh wow,

I came up with Lola Rose the other night, OH wasn't keen, then my dd piped up it's from a book - I don't care I still love it, and it goes nicely with your surname.

I absolutely love the name Lola, but it just keeps reminding me of the Kinks song, which really puts me off.

"Lo, Lo, Lo, Lo, Lola". Love the name. We have a cat called Lola and do sing this song to her quite a lot though! We also sing Copacabana to her and sometimes Laila by Eric Clapton (saying Lola instead of Laila). Our other cat doesn't get anything sang to her (she's called Coco)!

Lola was our 2nd choice for a girl, and if we ever have another wee lady she will be called lola! absolutely love it!

Lola Rose is one of our names for a girl....so I love it, Willow is cute too.* I do wish that song was never made- I have gotten alot of comments about the song- I just ignore!
