london christmas lights

Anyone else taking their kiddies to see the Oxford street Christmas lights etc?
We live about 40min train journey from London Paddington and then would need to get a bus or something to Oxford street. My daughter really wants to go so it will be worth struggling with the babies pushchair lol.

We are thinking of going this Friday

I'll be watching this, I live really close train wise to London I can put baby in the sling and the child an walk but want to know if its worth it! I'm thinking it should be...especially if I plan a trip to hamleys in there......
