long threads help

hope this makes sense, as i'm not very good at explaing myself sometimes

but i often find it difficult to remember where i have read up to with regards to a long/on going thread - like in the groups, is there a button etc that will take me straight to where i stopped reading/last post before i logged off if that makes sense? x
