Hey guys was wondering if there was anyone else in the longer stage of ttc like me? Would love to have a ttc buddy who is in the longer term ttc as me x

hey :) dont know if i should be posting here as ive not been ttc as long as you, probably 8 months now, but thought i would post anyway! :D
how are you getting on? have you been to the dr ?
you doing anything to help get that bfp ?

Hey Hun 8 months is still quite a long time ttc, I'm currently trying the ntnp after doing all my other cycles with opks and bbt. I rang the doctors but because I have two children they have refused to do anything and advised me to give everything up and be normal as such for a while. How are you getting on in your cycle x

thats doesnt sound too good from the dr, how long have you to wait before they do anything? ive been more ntnp, but trying to bd as much as possible.
my cycles are normally 31/32 days long, but last cycle was 25! i dont think i have ever had one that short before, shorted was before lo was born and that was 28!
so af is either due on tues ( 25 day cycle) or a week on tuesday ( 32 day cycle)
so still got quite a waiting game yet!

just bought the clear blue monitor to see if it can pin point ovulation as im no use with opks

how far along your cycle are you now ?

I haven't got any timescale where they will test its a no completely as I'm considered fertile regardless how long we are trying for. I've heard very good things about the monitors you'll have to let me know how you get on with it, I'm on cd10 roughly now but ovulation this month falls on the weekend we are camping with the in laws (sharing a caravan) so not a great chance this month anyway x

Hi buddies :)

We are 15 months this month :)

BlakesMummy I know that in the UK you ladies can't do much on your own with NHS at all but are there options of maybe trying natural medicine? The lady I work with was told by her doc that she had PCOS when her cycles stopped and she went to see a homeopath who found it was related to something else and her cycle restarted the very next month :)

Hi ladies

DH and I have been ntnp and them ttc since Feb 2015 so around 17 months (wow, just realised how long that seems when I see it in black and white!). I have pretty irregular cycles and this is the first cycle where I'm trying opks - no idea how I'll get on!

Ooh I might see about a homeopath. So where are we up to in our cycles at the moment girls x

Well I'm on CD15, some cycles have been about 32 days, longest one so far was 63. Think I'm averaging around 38 days

We are gonna go and see one in Sept! willing to try anything before resorting to IVF lol its crazy expensive and our healthcare system does not cover one bit of it :/ I'm 10 DPO today so AF due on Monday and then got 3 last rounds of Clomid. Doc says after that we need to go see a fertility specialist. Hence trying homeopath first!

What about you ladies?

hey can i join been trying for 18 months had 2 cps. currently had a month off trying as hubby had to go and break his ribs didnt he lol shouldnt joke he had bad accident in work so couldnt try this cycle hoping he is ok next cycle as i have a 31 to 33 day cycle and i o roughly on cd20 so he has another 3 wks. the first 6 months i was quite optimistic but lately its getting harder - severeal friends have announced they are pg and i am so happy for them just wish it would happen for me too. this will be our last as im 36 this year and hubby is 42 this year and he said there has to be a cut off time for trying as he doesnt want to be 45 with a new born. my doc said i can obviously get pg so he cant see there being any problems but said because of my age he will let me do a blood test - he didnt mention it was a fasting one so went for it and nurse couldnt do it as i had eaten that morning.... then i changed doctors and ive had to wait weeks for my notes to be transfered so im hoping this new docs doesnt refuse to test, its really for my age. it was on my notes apparently from years ago i have pcos but no dr has ever told me that i have it and my scans were always clear on my ovaries when i was pg so i would like to know if i do have pcos or whether its been added to my notes by mistake. very weird.....

anyway baby dust to all x

welcome ms sunshine :) it does get harder over time doesn't it. We are trying for #1 and I want it so badly. Went through a bit of a low patch when we hit 1 year but feeling a bit more positive now. Been trying to focus on relaxing and just enjoying time with DH. Baby will come he/she just wants to make a grand entrance!

Hey ladies- I am back to ltttc #2. We started in November 2014, so roughly 20 months now. I've had two chemical pregnancies. My doctor prescribed progesterone in an attempt to prevent another one. So as soon as af arrives I'm doing clomid and then progesterone after o is confirmed on ff.

I'm also on Clomid this month! CD5-9. On day 1 now :)

My doc prescribed Progesterone cream for me but it made me terribly depressed, so just watch out for that!

Mama- hopefully we'll be cycle buddies. I started spotting yesterday so hoping af arrives today.

Thanks for the warning. I know I've been using it to bring on af and I've been horribly moody.

Hiya, can I join please? Trying for number 4 which doesn't seem to be happening xx
