Look at my new Opk. Do you think it could mean ovulation or start of af?

I posted this on another thread of mine, but this forum might be a better place for it. Quick background: I recently stopped taking mini pill which I didn't have a period on. I haven't had af yet, so no new cycle to track. 2-3 days ago I had a lot of ewcm! I wasn't sure if maybe it meant af was coming... Or if I maybe ovulated?! I ordered opks from Amazon and got them this morning. Attached is today's test. I know it isn't positive, but it seems dark for not being in a cycle. Does that matter? Could I have actually ovulated the other day?? If I was nowhere near ovulation or af, wouldn't it be lighter? I'm so confused!!

I should mention this was not fmu, and was after I drank my morning bottle of water and apple cider vinegar.

Edit: attached is 2 hours later after not drinking anything (test on right)

Tonight's is much lighter. Does that matter or should it be at same time every day? I'll test in the morning...

Lighter today. Maybe I had already ovulated? Does it work like that? (does it get darker toward ovulation and slowly lighten after, or is there no gradual decrease in line after?)

Which side is the test side? When the test line becomes darker than the control line, that's when you're most fertile. Whenthe test line becomes the same color as the control, you will ovulate in 12-72 hours. (I've been using the strips too)
I also find that it's best to take them in the morning, sort of like a PG test.

Thanks! I know these are all negative, but since I'm not in a cycle (last af was Nov) I thought the test line seemed dark (I tested because I randomly got a lot of ewcm). The lines got significantly lighter... Then dark again today! Today the test is almost as dark as the control. I'm wondering if this could mean I'm about to start af. (I'm hopeful it is), or best case scenario... I'm ovulating!
