Hi,
I was on the combined pill (Cilest) for 10 years and had clear skin. Whwn I came off 6 months before getting pregnant I suffered with horrendous spots continuously. When I became pregnant I thought my skin skin may clear up but I still had quite a few spots. Now I've had my LO I am thinking about contraception, but as my skin is only now settling down I am terrified of causing a hormonal imbalance again which will trigger more spots and misery
It really affected my confidence to suddenly get such bad skin, I tried SO many things and nothing helped.
If I went back on the combined pill is it likely to be fine? Or cause outbreaks?
My GP told me about the coil (IUD and IUS) but I've heard both types can cause acne?
I want to come back as a man in the next life!!!!!
