Hi ladies

My first lb was born at 25+5 absolutly fine now and just over 1 year old

Well I am currently in hospital. Had a bleed expected a anti d and home instead I have had a swab which can predict pre term labour and it's came back positive but it's not totally 100% so they also measured cervical length aparantly the norm is 4cm mine is 2.4cm so it's thinning which is a sign of early labour. So acctual symptoms none, no pain a little bleeding and a bit excess discharge that is it (fingers crossed no more bleeds) any way had anti d and first lot of steroids.

My experience with my lb was different just wondering if any of you have had similar or can offer any advice. Really want this baby to stay in.

I am 24 weeks tomorrow.

I had my son @ 25 weeks, so i want to send a message to your LO "you have no right to leave mommy's tummy for another 13 weeks minimum, so get comforteble and stay tight"

I hope your lo stays cooking for many more weeks to come. Although your cervix is not ideal length it is still closed which is good because it means you aren't at risk of infection. Have they offered you progesterone?
