Looking for support

I am 39. No kids. Getting married. He is 42 and has 2 kids aged 17 & 10. Had a vasectomy approx 9 yrs ago. Looking at getting it reversed early next year. I've been going crazy. Thinking it won't happen for us. Took a short leave from work because I couldn't handle the depression and worry. Im scared i will be peri menopausal b4 we get started. Trying to be hopeful. Any suggestions?

HOPEFUL - let me share some wisdom i have come across since this process started....

Reversal - don't put it off if you can help it (afford it).

It takes a good 6 months after the reversal to start having healthy sperm again =

1-3 months - 1% chance of conceiving
4-6 months - 5% chance

Ensure your DH has SA on month - 2, 3, 6 - once you get a result of 10mil or more - GOOD TO GO

Don't stress your self out in the first few months like i did. no one told me all this - i found out on my own through research when ttc wasnt working
