losing hope!

Been trying to conceive now for 2 years. Just found out i'm hypothyroid, insulin resistant and now my RE found a uterine polyp. It seems like there are too many issues going on...i'm starting to lose hope. I"m 33 so time is running out. Anyone have the same issues with success stories?

Actually, I've found that hypothyroidism isn't that difficult to treat at all. Mine is pretty stable. I had my dose adjusted over the summer, so it hasn't helped with conception at all, but at least I know that is not the reason that I'm not getting pregnant.

Insulin resistant, you can make diet changes and take metformin.

Uterine polyp, you can have that removed.

I wouldn't give up just yet. The meds you will need to take regardless of ttc status, and the polyp you can have removed with surgery.

Get those things in order, then start to ttc again.

If thats your only problem then dont worry so much. Hypo is so easy to treat, it only took two months of meds and mine was normal, it might have been normal before the two months was up but thats when I had the blood test done. They can remove a polyp. and give it 3 months or so on metformin (ask for extended release) and your glucose should stabilize. Try a low GI diet I hear they work wonders, I unfortuatly like my sweets and carbs to much. Good luck. I know every peice of info you get seems like another thing gone wrong and every time you lose another bit of hope. But we have to stay strong. I know its hard. But we are all here for you.
