This is likely a silly question, but I’m curious if anyone else is losing weight consistently rather than gaining in third tri?
I gained a lot in first tri, I didn’t suffer morning sickness much at all, I just ate and ate! I think I gained something like 20lbs by 20 weeks... :dohh:
So for the past month, I’ve lost 2lbs every two weeks (I only weigh before a midwife appt as to not obsess over numbers!). My 7 and 5 year old are out of school for summer, I’m way more active than I was in first and second tri, plus the heat I’m sure.
I guess my question is.. it’s not dangerous that I’m losing rather than gaining, right?! Because I had plenty of extra weight to begin with. I see my midwife this morning, so I’ll question her too, just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat :flower:

At my appt almost 2 weeks ago I lost 3lbs. They say it can happen when uiure closer to your due date. I'm due the 18th of August but I have a feeling I'll go sooner than that. Maybe our bodies are just getting ready. Sometimes we lose but gain it right back as well.

Thanks for your reply @justonemore31 :flower: my midwife had zero concerns about my weight. Seems my little girl is engaging already too, so I guess we’re getting ready to go. Now just to keep her in for 4 more weeks lol

I weighed less at the end of pregnancy than I did before I fell pregnant.
Mw wasnt bothered said baby is growing fine.

It can def mean labor is happening shortly, but the 3 lbs I lost, I gained back haha. I'm now 36+2 today.

LOL I just weighed myself yesterday cause I wanted to see if I’d lost more... nope! I’m up 3lbs in just a week :dohh:
