Just wondering for Christmas have you bought your LO loads of little things or less pressies but big things? if that makes sense...

Iv just finished wrapping half of my presents and got knackered!...as iv just realised i haven't bought loads and loads of little pressies instead iv spent a fortune on loads of big toys...i now feel like doing some last min shopping and buying some more little pressies so he has got more to open...

What have you done? xx

I dont have any LO's YET but I personally like having more little things to open rather then a few big things hehe

A few big ones each, and the rest smaller.

We've bought little pressies - I want him to have lots to open! He's got a couple of big things to open from grandparents but we haven't really got a main present for him - just loads of little things, and I still haven't started my wrapping...think it might take a while  x

When I was younger my mum wasn't too well off so we used to get a stocking full of little pressies, and ONE of us (me, my brother or my sister) would get a big pressie, like one year my sister would, then the next year it would be my brother's turn for a big pressie, then the next year my turn :D Worked great for us :D We loved it... Running over to the big pressie in the corner of the room to see who it was for this time! (We never did realise that it went in circles :dohh: It was all part of the magic of Christmas and totally random to us!)

In our own family (DH, kids and I) it will be one big present each and the rest small pressies in the stocking :happydance:

SNAP! We haven't got Anna a main present - just a stocking with lots of little pressies in - stacky beakers, stacking rings, vtech baby laptop (biggest present we got her), tambourine etc.

My mother-in-law has got her the mothercare 7-in-1 trekker and my mum has got her this lovely singing, talking rocking horse (£10 in woolies now - bargain!)

Ive got one big present for my LO and loads of lil presents!!! Lots of books though as i he likes to look at the colours etc

My God i thought i was bad  I got through half lastnight...im tempted to go out whilst OH is working and get a load of little things for him...:witch:...

but then i think he is still really young so should i bother? xx

Most of Caitlyn's presents from mummy this year are clothes in the next size. To be honest, I thought she'd be in this size by now so I have loads of clothes that have never been washed/worn, so she's getting them for christmas. She has a few expensive toys, but not much, she already has an activity station and Jumperoo so she doesn't need much more.

I guess her big main present is the rocking ladybird thing from mamas and papas. Blossom butterfly I think it's called. So cute!

Elliots only little, and so can't really open his presents himself yet. we've got him a few small prsents, hes already had lots of things for his birth and then his christening-so its been hard finding more things for him to be honest.

keely.
