Loving aptamil anti reflux milk, but hungry baby!

My boy is 10 weeks old and weighed 14lb 1oz a week a go, since being put on aptamil anti reflux he has been such a happier baby and hasn't thrown up once! Problem is, he's having 7.5oz every 2 and a half hours, it's a struggle to get him to go any longer! I managed to get him to go 3 and a half hours this afternoon but he then guzzled down 10oz!!! I had to make up another bottle as he was still screaming for food! This wouldn't bother me if we were using normal milk but with the AR milk you have to leave it for 7 mins to thicken! Which is such a long time when u have a screaming boy
I try to give him his dummy but he ain't daft he knows there's no milk in that bad boy lol
What do I do?
Health visitor is useless!

What one are you using? Im using Aptamil AR, and I've never heard about letting it sit for 7 mins thicken (were in Australia though so maybe different formula?)

My LO is drinking 6-7oz a feeding every 2.5 hours (apart from at night) I CANNOT praise this formula enough it has done wonders for LO hasn't vomitted once since changing.

Im using that one, it says on the instructions to leave for 7 minutes so must be a different formula!
Just felt his gums and discovered he's cutting his first tooth! At 10 weeks old! Maybe that's why he's feeding so much?

Just feed him on demand. My 12 week old has been on 7oz bottles for a couple of weeks now.
Is the 2.5 hour gaps through the night aswell? If he mostly sleeps through the night (or just wakes once for a bottle) then I would say feeding every 2.5 hours through the day is fine. My lo only goes 2-3 hours between feeds but she sleeps straight through from around 10pm to around 7-8am. xx

Am I the only one finding it impossible to find stock of this milk? My little boy has been on it for about a month and its working brilliantly but now I can't get it anywhere. Am currently ringing every Boots in the city in live in trying to locate some!!

Heya. Its the same with Aptamil comfort and C&G comfort. There are big supply issues. C&G anti-reflux is identicle to the Aptamil one, so try that if you can find any. xx

Yeah I'm having the same problem, bought the last 2 tubs in my local boots! Been to 3 others and they don't have any left, still have a tub left so hoping its back in stock when he finishes this one! Anyone know when it's meant to be back in stock?? Xx

I too would feed on demand. I premake DD's bottles and have had no problems with it. If you dont want to do that then make up a bottle 2 hours after lo feeds then by the time LO is hungry again its ready. They last 2 hours from being made at room temperature. I didnt realise there were supply problems. I have started the anti reflux formula due to the supply problems with Infant Gaviscon! D'oh!!

It's back in stock online now still none in the shops in my area though!
